Reflections
Through the eyes of another / Like a mirror to oneself
Through the eyes of another Like a mirror to oneself Enhanced through thought I see myself staring back The house spider I let live A fly given a webbed hug An eater and the eaten Ubiquitous reflections of self A world constantly falling Movements within the cosmos The screams that eventually die A trillion years of life cycles The conscious perception A beam reflected inward We slide down the tracks Set forth among the trials Born in the culture that is Hard-pressed, but doing something Set in my ways like laminar flow Evaporation of sense delusion Faced with reality's tool Of ego thought imbued The collapsed mind summons An iconography of yester Of the duality in circuitry Existential conceptual hierarchy Love between two builds The true universal bridge As we look back at each other Through the eyes of another Togetherness into one Harmonious awakening By: Trevor Kuether

I don’t know if it’s deliberate or just flowing through your unconscious, but this is strikingly Hegelian. The idea of gaining self-consciousness through reflection of the other, the idea of desiring that other, the ultimate synthesis. Love this one.
