I feel it is in our nature to be violent, of this I agree. But I also feel we know this and we’ve tried to make social institutions (governments) that recognize this and help curtail this. For example, like congress being able to declare war.
There is a great line in the bloody sonnets. “You think you are the master of nature!? First master yourself!”
Which, another bloody sonnets line “humanity is still in training” and yeah, I think that resonates with what you are saying.
