Brilliant poem. How do you feel when you write this?

Thanks! That's a great question and an interesting one. I think all my poems produce a sense of relief. Very few produce sadness or happiness. I am just glad I could get something out of my unconscious and into the real world AND have it sound coherent. But the production and moving it outside of conventional memory, is a sense of relief.

Thank you for this response. You have spoken to me about your experience and practice of buddhism. Perhaps it's like letting go of the poem from the unconsious.

Yes, very good point. As the title of my substack reflects, rumination has always been my brain’s thing and so anything that can help with that has been beneficial.

Trevor, your poem resonates with themes of emergence, transformation and transcendence. It's a whole cosmic journey.

That is it. And the experience of it all. Thanks for the read and thoughtful comment, Conny!!

This feels deep and abstract, like it’s touching on creation and consciousness in a really layered way. Some lines are hard to grasp but they still pull you in. What were you thinking about when you wrote this?

You got it exactly, it is speaking of those topics (creation and consciousness), among others. So that is very perceptive of you. It is also talking of experience and the “other”. Thank you for the read and subscribe!
